Azura TS

Azura TS is a negative working, non-ablative, thermal CtP plate which delivers the benefits of chemistry-free plate making to the small and medium sized commercial print market.
The Azura TS plate uses Agfa's innovative ThermoFuse technology in which a single layer of ink-accepting ThermoFuse particles are coated on an electrochemically grained and anodised aluminium base. During exposure on standard 830nm thermal platesetters the Thermofuse particles fuse together and bond to the aluminium substrate, creating a durable and solid ink-accepting image, fully compatible with today's standard press founts and inks.
After exposure the :Azura TS plates are cleaned and gummed in one simple step in the Azura Cleanout Unit, which does not require developer or replenishment. :Azura TS is ideal for 4up and 8up short and medium run commerical print applications. It can hold up to 2-98% screen tints at 200lpi, and 240 lpi using Agfa Graphics' Sublima screening technology; depending on press conditions and platesetter capability.
Azura TS delivers up to a 50% increase in plate throughput productivity over the :Azura predecessor, and is fully compatible with thermal 830nm platesetters in the market.
